We are on the hunt for a lively and skilled dance instructor to lead a Charleston-themed dance hen party in Glasgow. This event offers a delightful opportunity to dive into the energetic world of the Charleston, Jive, and other Roaring '20s style dances, teaching participants fun and engaging routines set to the vibrant tunes of the era. Located in the heart of Glasgow, the session is designed to be a spirited celebration of dance, perfect for those captivated by the glamour and exuberance of the 1920s.

Event Overview:

Occasion: Charleston Dance-Themed Hen Party
Date: Saturday, 11th May 2024
Time: 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM
Location: Central Glasgow, with specific venue details provided upon application
Dance routine: A mix of Charleston, Jive, and Roaring '20s theme style dances
Level: Complete beginners

Responsibilities:

Choreograph and teach dance routines inspired by the Charleston and the Roaring '20s, ensuring they are accessible and enjoyable for beginners.
Create an engaging, lively, and inclusive environment that encourages all participants to get involved and enjoy the spirit of the era.
Encourage participants to embrace the theme, possibly with costumes inspired by the 1920s for added fun and authenticity.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a dance instructor, with specific expertise in Charleston, Jive, or similar dance styles preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and motivating participants of all skill levels.
A positive and encouraging teaching style, focused on creating a fun and inclusive atmosphere.

Pay is £45 paid on the day (based on £25ph and £5ph towards travel and parking)
