We're looking for a vibrant and enthusiastic dance instructor to lead a Hairspray-inspired dance workshop for a hen party in York. If you can bring the energy and spirit of 1960s Baltimore to life through dance, this is your chance to shine!

Event Details:
What: Hairspray-Themed Dance Hen Party Workshop
When: Sunday, 4th May 2025, 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM (1.5 hours)
Where: York city center (exact location provided to chosen applicant)

Your Role:

Teach fun and upbeat dance routines inspired by the musical Hairspray, suitable for beginners
Create an energetic atmosphere that captures the spirit of the 1960s and the musical
Provide clear instructions and demonstrations to ensure everyone feels like a star of the show
Incorporate iconic songs from Hairspray into the choreography

We're Looking For:

A dance teacher experienced in musical theatre-style dance, particularly familiar with Hairspray choreography
Someone who can teach group routines with enthusiasm and inclusivity
An instructor who can motivate a diverse group and bring out everyone's inner Tracy Turnblad
Ability to capture the essence of the era and the musical in the dance moves

Pay:
£37.50 for the 1.5-hour workshop (£25 per hour)
£10 for travel and parking
Total: £47.50
