Job Description:
We're seeking a passionate and skilled belly dance instructor to join our team in Cambridge. The ideal candidate will bring expertise, cultural understanding, and an engaging teaching style to introduce and develop students' skills in this beautiful art form.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead belly dance classes for students of various skill levels
Teach a range of belly dance styles (e.g., Egyptian, Turkish, American Tribal)
Develop comprehensive lesson plans covering technique, choreography, and cultural context
Provide clear instructions on isolations, shimmies, and other key movements
Create a welcoming, body-positive environment for all students

Requirements:

Proven experience teaching belly dance, preferably in Cambridge or surrounding areas
Strong knowledge of belly dance techniques, music, and cultural background
Excellent communication and demonstration skills
Ability to break down complex movements for beginners
Understanding of proper body alignment and safe dance practices
Punctual and reliable
